Hyderabad: The TG Polyset results came out on Saturday at the SBTET office in Masab Tank. The Commissioner of Technical Education announced the results of the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test.
Officials said 98,029 students appeared for the examination held on May 13. Out of them, 82.94 percent qualified in the entrance test.
Girls recorded a pass percentage of 86.38, while boys secured 72.92 percent. Meanwhile, Namala Lokesh from Warangal secured the first rank in the TG Polyset results. Banothu Hemanath from Suryapet secured the second rank.
The Telangana government also introduced a digital system to send results directly to students through mobile services.
TG Polyset results reach students through WhatsApp
The Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) wing launched the facility through the Mee Seva WhatsApp platform and chatbot service. As a result, students now receive their marks directly on registered mobile phones.
Mee Seva started WhatsApp services on November 18 last year. Since then, officials said the platform had become useful for students and parents.
The TG Polyset results are reaching students through the official Mee Seva WhatsApp number 8096958096. Officials said the service functions completely through an outbound system.
Students do not need to send separate messages to access their results. Instead, the system automatically sends marks memos in PDF format after the announcement of results.
Students and parents can instantly check the PDF on WhatsApp and also download it for future reference.
The ESD Commissioner said the digital system would help students access results quickly without server-related delays or technical problems.
