Further, police collected fines amounting to Rs 1.60 lakh from violators in these cases.
Special enforcement teams monitored major junctions, commercial areas and busy traffic corridors to identify violations.
Officials said unauthorized tinted glass obstructed visibility and affected surveillance and enforcement activities.
Similarly, they said unauthorized sirens and multi-toned horns created noise pollution and inconvenienced other motorists.
Police also stated that some motorists misused such devices to seek undue road priority and intimidate road users.
Meanwhile, Malkajgiri traffic police advised motorists not to use black films beyond permissible limits and avoid fitting unauthorized sirens or pressure horns on private vehicles.
