Telangana SSC results 2026 record 95.15% pass percentage, girls outperform boys
Hyderabad: The Telangana SSC results 2026 recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.15, with girls outperforming boys once again in the Class 10 examinations across the state.
Government adviser K. Keshava Rao, Education Secretary Yogita Rana and School Education Director Naveen Nicolas released the results on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials said 96.26 per cent of girls passed the examinations, while the pass percentage among boys stood at 94.07 per cent.
Congratulating students who cleared the examinations, Keshava Rao advised those who failed not to take extreme decisions in moments of emotional distress. Instead, he urged them to prepare well for supplementary examinations and attempt the tests again with confidence.
Mulugu tops Telangana SSC results 2026
The SSC examinations were conducted from March 14 to April 16 this year.
According to Education Secretary Yogita Rana, a total of 5,28,239 students appeared for the examinations and 4,97,312 students passed.
Officials stated that 5,731 schools secured 100 per cent results in the examinations. However, six private schools failed to record even a single pass.
Mulugu district topped the Telangana SSC results 2026 with a pass percentage of 99.30.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad district recorded the lowest pass percentage in the state at 89.23.
Students can access their results through the official Board of Secondary Education Telangana website.
SSC results available through WhatsApp
The Telangana Education Department also introduced WhatsApp access for SSC results for the first time.
Students can receive their marks memos directly through the MeeSeva Telangana WhatsApp service by sending a message to 8096958096.
Officials instructed students to save the number as “MeeSeva Telangana”, send a “Hi” message and then choose the SSC Result service option.
After entering the hall ticket number, students will receive their marks memo directly on WhatsApp.
Last year, Telangana recorded an overall SSC pass percentage of 92.78.
In 2025, girls secured a pass percentage of 94.26, while boys recorded 91.32 per cent in the examinations.
