Hyderabad: Suryapet District Collector Tejas Nand Lal Pawar said the administration aims to achieve zero accidents in industries and transform the district into a safe and accident-free region through stronger safety measures and coordinated emergency response systems.
He said protecting the lives of workers remains the administration’s top priority. Therefore, he urged industries to adopt robust safety practices to achieve the goal of zero accidents across the district.

Zero accidents goal drives industrial safety push
The Collector directed all Major Accident Hazard (MAH) industries in the district to submit their on-site emergency plans to the government without delay.
Additionally, he stressed the need for a strong coordination mechanism among industries, police, fire services, medical teams and transport authorities.
According to him, such coordination would ensure a swift response during emergencies. Furthermore, it would help minimise risks and improve worker safety.
Pawar also warned that authorities would take strict action against those who violate safety regulations or compromise worker welfare.
Meanwhile, he called on officials and industrial managements to work together with a sense of responsibility.
He said collective efforts are essential to make Suryapet an ideal district with zero accidents. Moreover, he urged all stakeholders to remain vigilant and follow prescribed safety norms.
