SIO Telangana protests against NEET paper leak

Hyderabad: Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Telangana staged a protest in Hyderabad against the NEET paper leak issue and demanded the scrapping of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The NEET paper leak protest took place on Tuesday at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Statue near Liberty Circle at Tank Bund. Students, activists and citizens participated in the demonstration and raised slogans against the NTA.

Protesters accused the agency of corruption, administrative negligence and repeated examination irregularities. They also demanded accountability from the Union Government over the controversy.

Addressing the gathering, SIO Telangana state president Mohd Faraz Ahmed said more than 22 lakh students across the country were suffering because of repeated failures and controversies linked to national-level examinations conducted by the NTA.

He said authorities should not compromise the future of students because of negligence, lack of transparency and failure to protect examination integrity.

NEET paper leak protest targets NTA

Faraz Ahmed demanded the immediate resignation of the Union Education Minister. He also called for scrapping the National Testing Agency, alleging that it had repeatedly failed to conduct fair and transparent examinations.

He said repeated paper leaks and examination irregularities had damaged the confidence of students and parents. According to him, the controversy had also created uncertainty and mental stress among aspirants preparing for competitive examinations.

The organisation reiterated its commitment to protecting students’ rights. It also urged the government to establish a transparent, accountable and student-friendly examination system.

NEET paper leak protest raises key demands

During the protest, SIO Telangana demanded immediate action against people responsible for examination irregularities, corruption and paper leaks.

The organisation also sought the resignation of the Union Education Minister and renewed its demand to abolish the NTA.

Furthermore, protesters called for a fair, transparent and corruption-free examination system that protects student interests.
