BRAOU holds free health camp for employees and families

Hyderabad: BRAOU health camp offered free medical check-ups to serving and retired employees and their dependents at the University Health Centre.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University organised the camp with National Insurance Company Limited, FHPL and KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals. Doctors from KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals conducted medical examinations for university employees.

BRAOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani said the initiative aimed to improve health awareness among employees and their families. He also stressed the importance of regular health checks following growing health concerns after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chakrapani appreciated the partner organisations for extending medical services to the university community. He said the programme would support the health and well-being of employees and their dependents.

University Registrar Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy attended the programme. Administration officials M. Rushendramani, M. Karuna, Mohammed Aleem and Ch. Yadagiri also participated.

Directors, Deans, heads of branches and teaching and non-teaching employees attended the BRAOU health camp. Representatives from FHPL and the partner organisations also took part in the programme.

BRAOU health camp provides medical check-ups

Dr. Ashwini Devarashetty, a gynaecologist at KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals, participated in the medical camp. Doctors from the hospital carried out health check-ups for university employees.

M. Srinivas, Chief Business Manager of National Insurance Company Limited, also attended the programme. KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals officials Srinivas, General Manager, and Sarojini, Assistant Manager, participated as well.

U. Prabhakar, Assistant General Manager of FHPL, joined the programme along with other representatives. The participating teams coordinated the medical services provided during the camp.

The BRAOU health camp brought together university officials, insurance representatives, TPA personnel and medical professionals. The organisers aimed to strengthen health awareness and provide accessible medical screening for the university community.
