Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district today to mark 20 years in public life. The programme includes temple visits, foundation stone ceremonies, statue unveilings and a public meeting.
Revanth Reddy began his political journey as a ZPTC member from Midjil in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district. Therefore, he will attend a thanksgiving meeting in the mandal where his political career began.
The Chief Minister will reach Urukondapeta in Urukonda mandal of Nagarkurnool district at 12.30 pm. There, he will offer prayers at the Urukonda Anjaneya Swamy Temple. He will also lay the foundation stone for temple development works.
Later, he will participate in a lunch interaction with local elders and associates at the temple premises. At 2.30 pm, he will leave for Midjil by road. He will reach the mandal headquarters at 2.45 pm.
Revanth Reddy to inaugurate development works in Midjil
At Veljala Cross Road in Midjil, the Chief Minister will unveil the statues of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and former MLA Dyapa Gopal Reddy. Meanwhile, he will proceed to the public meeting venue at 3 pm.
Additionally, Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation stone for several development works in Midjil mandal. The projects form part of the day’s official programme.
Finally, the Chief Minister will address the public meeting. The thanksgiving event will mark 20 years since he entered public life as a people’s representative.
