Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the Telangana government remained committed to creating a favourable ecosystem for advanced technology industries and startups. The Revanth Reddy aerospace support initiative was highlighted during his meeting with Skyroot Aerospace founders in New Delhi.
Skyroot Aerospace Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Pawan Kumar Chandana and Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Naga Bharath Daka met the Chief Minister and briefed him on the company’s recent achievements.
The founders explained the successful launch of Vikram-1, India’s first privately developed orbital-class launch vehicle. They said the achievement made India the third country after the United States and China to attain orbital launch capability through the private sector.
Revanth Reddy congratulated the Skyroot Aerospace founders on the milestone. He said their success would further strengthen India’s position in the global space sector.
Revanth Reddy aerospace support focuses on innovation
The Revanth Reddy aerospace support agenda also included discussions on the rapid growth of Telangana’s aerospace and space technology sectors.
The meeting covered innovation, advanced manufacturing, research and development, and opportunities for collaboration between the government and private space industry.
The Chief Minister said Telangana would continue promoting policies that encourage high-technology industries and startups. Moreover, he reiterated the State government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for investments and innovation.
The discussions also explored ways to expand cooperation between the government and the private space sector. The participants reviewed opportunities to strengthen research, technology development and industrial growth in Telangana.
Revanth Reddy said such achievements reflected India’s growing capabilities in space technology. He added that Telangana aimed to emerge as a preferred destination for aerospace and advanced technology investments.
