Cyberabad Police advise staggered early logout amid rain alert

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police issued a traffic advisory asking companies and organisations to implement a staggered early logout from 3.30 pm on Wednesday in view of the forecast for moderate to heavy rainfall.

The advisory was issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic-I, Cyberabad. It cited employee safety, traffic management and uninterrupted emergency services as the primary reasons for the request.

Police urged companies to stagger employee departures to minimise travel-related risks. They also said the measure would reduce pressure on the road network during adverse weather conditions.

Traffic advisory seeks company cooperation

Under the Cyberabad traffic advisory, organisations were requested to inform the Traffic Police about their office location and planned early logout timings. According to the advising, the information would help authorities prepare adequate traffic management arrangements and ensure smoother vehicle movement across Cyberabad.

Police said staggered departures would help reduce severe traffic congestion during the expected spell of heavy rain. Moreover, the measure would support the uninterrupted movement of emergency service vehicles.

The advisory also requested organisations to extend full cooperation to traffic authorities. Officials expressed appreciation for the support of companies in implementing the precautionary measure.

The move followed forecasts of moderate to heavy rainfall across the region. Authorities urged organisations to plan employee movement accordingly to enhance public safety and minimise disruptions.
