Hyderabad: A Mee Seva e-KYC disruption has left victims of the 22A Prohibited List struggling to submit applications. The e-KYC service has reportedly remained disrupted at Mee Seva centers across Rangareddy district for the past week.
The state government’s 22A Prohibited List has created continuing problems for landowners. Officials preparing the prohibited-land list reportedly included several patta lands due to errors.
As a result, affected landowners have been visiting Mee Seva centers to submit applications and seek removal of their properties from the prohibited list. However, the Mee Seva e-KYC disruption has added to their difficulties.
Meanwhile, tehsildars recently brought details of patta lands to the attention of higher authorities. They did so while working to correct mistakes identified in the prohibited list.
The issue has also created uncertainty over properties with houses. Officials themselves reportedly remain unclear about the status of several such properties affected by the list.
Mee Seva e-KYC disruption affects TM 15 applications
Rangareddy district has a large number of people affected by the 22A Prohibited List. In particular, Ibrahimpatnam, Abdullapurmet, Balapur and Kandukur have reported many affected properties.
Maheshwaram, Shamshabad, Rajendranagar and Gandipet are also among the affected areas. Serilingampalli, Shankarpalli and Moinabad have likewise seen houses, house plots and agricultural lands included in the prohibited list.
People are now concerned about the Mee Seva e-KYC disruption when they visit centers to submit applications under TM 15. They fear the continuing service problem could further delay efforts to address their land records.
The disruption has therefore added another hurdle for landowners already dealing with errors in the 22A Prohibited List. The affected people are seeking a way to submit their applications and resolve the status of their properties.
