CAT application deadline extended to September 22

Hyderabad: The CAT application deadline for the Common Admission Test has been extended to September 22. The examination will be conducted on November 29 for admissions to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

Candidates seeking admission to IIMs will therefore get additional time to submit their CAT applications. The extension moves the earlier deadline to the 22nd, according to the information provided.

Meanwhile, the government has also extended the application deadline for new pensions under the ‘Cheyutha’ scheme. Officials said applicants would now have one additional day to submit their applications.

The extension followed directions from Minister Seethakka. Officials said they provided the application facility until 5 pm on Wednesday because of three consecutive holidays.

CAT application deadline and Cheyutha extension

Separately, people seeking new pensions under ‘Cheyutha’ received additional time to apply. The government extended the deadline by one day and kept the facility open until 5 pm on Wednesday.
