Congress plans crowd outreach ahead of CM visit

Road work from Karimnagar Kothapalli to Huzurabad has already begun. The CM will also lay the foundation for a 250-bed hospital. Tourism at Ellamma Cheruvu and Mahasamudram Gandi will be developed. Plans are in place to improve lakes like Palle Cheruvu and Kotha Cheruvu.

Congress leaders held review meetings with local sarpanches. They instructed workers to distribute pamphlets and mobilize voters for the CM’s visit. Ponnam urged party coordination in upcoming sarpanch elections and insisted on fielding only one Congress-backed candidate in each village.

He asked local leaders to support welfare messaging. These include free housing, fine rice distribution, zero-interest loans, and free bus travel for women. “Just as you worked for my win, I’ll work for yours,” he told party members.

Officials including Collector Haimavathi and Library Corporation Chairman Lingamurthy participated in the planning meeting.
