Hyderabad: A DCM driver sustained injuries after his vehicle rammed into a lorry near Addanki bypass in Nalgonda district on Saturday. The incident occurred close to the Kanaka Durga Rice Mill near the Leprosy Colony on the Addanki route.
According to initial reports, the lorry was heading towards Addanki when it braked suddenly. The DCM, following close behind, collided with it. The force of the impact left the DCM driver trapped inside the cabin.
Emergency personnel from 108 services rushed to the scene and provided oxygen and immediate assistance to stabilize the victim.
Locals assist with rope and tractor to free injured DCM driver
Local residents joined the rescue by using a rope and tractor to pull open the damaged cabin and free the driver. The injured man was then shifted to Nalgonda Government Hospital for further treatment.
Police from the local station registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
