Revanth Reddy to begin two-day Palamuru tour today

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will begin a two-day Revanth Reddy tour of the undivided Mahabubnagar district today to inspect major irrigation projects and review their progress with officials.

The Chief Minister will arrive at Makthal directly from Bengaluru at 3 p.m. Thereafter, officials will brief him on the Makthal-Narayanpet-Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme (MNKLIS).

Officials will also explain the progress of the proposed barrages across the Bhima and Krishna rivers. The briefing will continue until 3.30 p.m.

Revanth Reddy tour focuses on irrigation projects

Later, from 3.40 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Chief Minister will inspect works related to the MNKLIS project.

After that, at 4.10 p.m., he will conduct an aerial review of the Koyilsagar Project area. He will also examine the proposed barrages on the Krishna and Bhima rivers.

In addition, Revanth Reddy will inspect the Priyadarshini Jurala Project dam region during the aerial survey.

Subsequently, between 4.55 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., he will visit the Gudendoddi Reservoir and the JNLLIS Stage-I pump house.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister will chair a high-level review meeting at Somasila from 6.45 p.m. to 8.45 p.m.

During the meeting, officials will present updates on major irrigation projects in the undivided Mahabubnagar district.

Thereafter, Revanth Reddy will stay overnight at Somasila. He will continue the Revanth Reddy tour on the second day.
