Hyderabad: BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao alleged HYDRAA selective action in Hyderabad. He claimed the agency was targeting only poor people’s houses while ignoring illegal structures linked to the MIM.
Addressing the media on Monday, Ramchander Rao questioned why HYDRAA had not acted against alleged unauthorised constructions linked to the MIM. He referred to the Fatima Educational Institutions. He claimed officials had informed the High Court about violations at the institution.
HYDRAA selective action triggers BJP criticism
Ramchander Rao alleged that authorities had failed to act despite the High Court raising objections. He further claimed that the government had acknowledged the encroachments. However, it had not removed the alleged illegal structures.
The BJP leader alleged that the Congress and the MIM shared an understanding. He claimed this had resulted in selective enforcement. He demanded that HYDRAA act impartially and implement the High Court’s directions without discrimination.
Ramchander Rao warned that the BJP would launch statewide protests if the authorities failed to act against the alleged illegal constructions.
