Youth stabbed to death in Balapur; police hunt for two accused

Hyderabad: Two men allegedly stabbed a 28-year-old to death following a dispute at Mariyam Colony under the Balapur Police Station limits in the early hours of Monday. Police launched a search for the accused in the Balapur murder case.

Police identified the victim as Fahad Balkhashar, who owned a vehicle washing service centre. He leaves behind his wife and a son.

Balapur murder followed dispute

According to preliminary information, Fahad knew the accused, Salam Boum and Sayeed Boum, through a local gym. The three had reportedly argued over the past few days.

Police said one of the accused allegedly went to Fahad’s house with a knife a day before the incident. However, Fahad’s brother intervened and settled the dispute temporarily.

At around 2.22 am on Monday, Salam Boum and Sayeed Boum allegedly attacked Fahad with a knife and inflicted serious injuries. Relatives rushed him to Owaisi Hospital. Doctors later declared him dead.

Balapur Police moved the body to the mortuary for post-mortem examination and registered a case. Police teams continue to search for the two accused and are investigating the case.
