Ponnam Prabhakar campaigns for Congress candidates in Husnabad

Hyderabad: Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar campaigned for Congress candidates in Husnabad municipality ahead of the civic polls.

As part of the campaign, he carried out door-to-door outreach in Ward No.1. There, he extended support to Congress candidate Sagar in the KV Colony area.

During the campaign, Ponnam Prabhakar interacted with women, children, and senior citizens. At the same time, he explained welfare schemes and development works taken up by the Praja Palana government.

The minister said the government was working to make Husnabad one of the leading municipalities in the state. Accordingly, he highlighted CC roads, drainage works, and drinking water projects.

He also spoke about the beautification of Ellamma Cheruvu and Kotha Cheruvu. In addition, he referred to the development of an urban forest park.

Meanwhile, urging voters to back Congress candidates, he said winning all 20 wards would strengthen development efforts. As a result, he added, Husnabad would receive more projects.

During the outreach, Ponnam Prabhakar outlined key welfare schemes. These included Indiramma housing and the supply of fine rice through ration cards.

Further, he highlighted free bus travel for women in RTC services. He also spoke about 200 units of free electricity and LPG cylinders at ₹500.

In addition, he mentioned a ₹500 bonus on fine paddy and Rythu Bharosa. He also referred to farm loan waivers and interest-free loans for women.

Moreover, the minister said the government aimed to make one crore women financially strong. He spoke about Indiramma sarees and ongoing job recruitment.

Finally, concluding the campaign, he urged residents to elect Congress candidates. He said this would ensure continued welfare and development in Husnabad.
