Telangana Nav Nirman Sabha faces legal battle
The Telangana Janasena unit had completed preparations for the event in Hyderabad.
However, police refused permission citing security concerns and official statehood celebrations.
As a result, the party suffered a setback in its efforts to conduct the meeting.
Meanwhile, Janasena leaders have started exploring legal options.
According to reports, the party has already approached the Telangana High Court seeking permission for the event.
The High Court may hear the matter shortly.
Furthermore, Congress leaders, TRS leaders and several Telangana groups have objected to the proposed meeting.
They also warned the party against organising the event in the city.
Meanwhile, the issue has attracted significant political attention ahead of Telangana Formation Day.
The court’s verdict will now determine whether the party can hold the event as planned.
