Hyderabad Collector directs speedy disposal of Prajavani grievances

Hyderabad: Hyderabad District Collector Dr. Priyanka Ala on Monday directed officials to ensure the prompt resolution of Prajavani grievances and accord top priority to petitions submitted by citizens.

Chairing the Prajavani programme at the Collectorate, she received representations from the public and reviewed grievance redressal mechanisms.

The Collector instructed departments to examine applications without delay and ensure time-bound disposal of cases.

Additionally, she directed officials to submit Action Taken Reports on pending petitions.

Prajavani grievances review focuses on pending petitions

Priyanka Ala reviewed the status of pending cases under the Chief Minister’s Prajavani programme.

Furthermore, she stressed accountability and instructed officials to expedite the resolution of all pending petitions.

She also urged citizens to make use of the Prajavani programme conducted at the Collectorate and Revenue Divisional Offices for grievance redressal.

According to official figures, authorities received a total of 1,102 representations during the programme.

Of these, 902 petitions related to housing issues.

Additionally, 155 representations concerned pensions, while 14 pertained to revenue matters.

Another 31 petitions were related to various other departments.

The Collector reiterated that the district administration remained committed to addressing Prajavani grievances promptly and effectively.
