CM’s Parakala visit on August 16 will include a hospital inauguration, public meeting and detailed security and traffic arrangements.

Hyderabad: Hanumakonda District Collector Chahat Bajpai reviewed arrangements for CM’s Parakala visit on August 16 and directed officials to ensure a smooth programme.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Parakala and attend a public meeting. He will also inaugurate the newly constructed government area hospital.

On Tuesday, Bajpai inspected the proposed helipad, meeting venue, parking areas, traffic routes and security arrangements with Warangal Police Commissioner N. Swetha.

Officials also reviewed preparations for the hospital inauguration. The Collector directed all departments to coordinate closely and complete the required works without delay.

Bajpai inspected a site near Lalitha Convention Hall for the proposed helipad. She also examined the Government Degree College and Angadi areas for the meeting venue and vehicle parking.

Large crowds are expected from different areas. Therefore, the Collector asked officials to prepare an advance plan for traffic movement, parking and crowd management.

She directed officials to ensure proper arrangements along the Chief Minister’s route from the helipad. Authorities must also complete preparations at the hospital and meeting venue.

The Collector stressed the need for adequate roads, electricity, drinking water and sanitation facilities. She also asked officials to monitor the arrangements continuously and address any shortcomings immediately.

CM’s Parakala visit to get detailed security and traffic plan

Police Commissioner N. Swetha directed police officials to give top priority to security during the CM’s Parakala visit.

She called for a comprehensive plan covering the helipad, route map, meeting venue and parking areas. Police must also make effective arrangements for traffic control, she said.

Bajpai and Swetha later reviewed the route map and security arrangements with officials. They also examined the proposed parking plan for the Chief Minister’s programme.

The Collector stressed that all departments must work in coordination. She asked officials to ensure that the public and other participants face no inconvenience.

DCP Ankit Kumar, Additional Collector Ravi, DRDO Mena Srinivas, Local Bodies in-charge Additional Collector Seshadri, R&B SE Suresh Babu and EE Devika attended the review.

TWIIDC EE Arun Kumar, DMHO Dr. Appayya, Parakala Municipal Chairperson Sunil Kumar, Municipal Commissioner Pawan, ACP Satish Babu and Parakala CI Kranthi Kumar also participated.

Councillors Srinivas and Srikanth and other officials were present.
