Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police said the proposed KBR Park one-way traffic system would take effect from August 18, 2026. Police asked walkers, park visitors and commuters to cooperate with the revised arrangements.
Traffic Police held an open discussion with KBR Park walkers at 7 am on August 14. Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Joel Davis led the interaction. DCP Traffic-II Kajal and other Traffic Police officers and personnel also participated.
During the meeting, officials explained the upcoming traffic changes around KBR Park. Moreover, they sought public cooperation to ensure smooth implementation of the new system.
KBR Park one-way traffic plan includes parking rules
Traffic Police asked park visitors to leave their vehicles only in designated parking bays. Visitors could also use the Multilevel Parking facility. Officials specifically warned motorists against driving on the wrong side of the road. They highlighted the need to avoid such violations, particularly during early morning hours.
In addition, walkers and commuters were asked to follow the revised traffic arrangements and directions from Traffic Police personnel. Police said public cooperation would help them implement the KBR Park one-way traffic system smoothly.
The interaction also gave KBR Park walkers an opportunity to raise suggestions about the proposed arrangements.
Hyderabad Traffic Police invited walkers to provide feedback and suggestions on the new traffic plan. For this purpose, police would place a QR code in front of KBR Park. People could use it to submit their views on the proposed arrangements.
Meanwhile, Traffic Police appealed to regular park visitors and other citizens to cooperate with personnel deployed in the area. Officials said the KBR Park one-way traffic arrangement aimed to support safer, smoother and more disciplined movement around the park.
The new system would come into effect on August 18. Therefore, police asked commuters to follow revised traffic directions from that date and use only designated parking facilities.
