New Year’s eve traffic curbs around Hussain Sagar
Officials will divert traffic around Hussain Sagar via alternate routes through Khairatabad, Liberty, Ranigunj, Karbala Maidan, and Kawadiguda. Most flyovers will remain closed, except those in Begumpet and Tolichowki.
The PVNR Expressway will remain open only to air passengers with valid tickets. From 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., the city will ban the entry of lorries, private travel buses, and other heavy vehicles. Police recommend using the Outer Ring Road (ORR) instead.

Police will prosecute vehicle owners who allow minors to drive.
Meanwhile, event organisers, hotels, bars, and clubs must ensure safe transport for inebriated patrons. They must also regulate parking and follow permitted liquor service timings.
