National leaders extend Telangana Formation Day greetings

Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and several other national leaders extended Telangana Formation Day greetings to the people of the state.

President Murmu described Telangana as a state blessed with a rich cultural heritage and hardworking people. She noted that the state had made significant progress in innovation and development over the years. She also wished the people continued progress and well-being.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his greetings on the occasion and highlighted Telangana’s spirit of innovation and enterprise. According to him, the state is known for its rich culture, history and tradition of courage and determination. He said the Centre remained committed to supporting Telangana’s development as part of the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also greeted the people of Telangana. He said the state stood out for its vibrant culture and entrepreneurial spirit. Furthermore, he wished Telangana greater progress and prosperity in the years ahead.

Telangana Formation Day draws tributes from national leaders

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy paid tributes to martyrs, activists, students, intellectuals and citizens who contributed to the formation of Telangana. He said their sacrifices and determination made statehood possible.

Kishan Reddy also highlighted Telangana’s cultural heritage, including Bathukamma, Bonalu and the Sammakka-Saralamma Medaram Jatara. Moreover, he said these traditions reflected the courage, resilience and cultural pride of the people.

Calling for a renewed commitment to development, the Union Minister urged people to work towards building a Viksit Telangana that fulfilled the aspirations of every citizen.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar also extended greetings on the occasion. He described Telangana as the result of a decades-long struggle for self-respect and identity.

Bandi Sanjay paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for statehood. In addition, he recalled the contribution of former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and other leaders who supported the Telangana cause.

The Union minister conveyed his greetings to the people of Telangana on the state’s formation anniversary.
