MLA Bandari Laxma Reddy vows to work for journalists’ welfare

Hyderabad: MLA Bandari Laxma Reddy said he would continue working for the welfare of journalists and their families. He made the assurance on Friday while participating as chief guest at a personal accident insurance bond distribution programme at the Kapra Press Club office in the TSIIC Colony.

MLA stresses unity and recognition for journalists

Addressing the gathering, Laxma Reddy urged journalists to remain united and fight collectively for their rights. He said journalists often risk their health and safety while performing their duties and act as strong allies of society. According to him, those who uphold journalistic values would always earn recognition and respect.
He encouraged reporters to stand against injustice and extend their support to poor and marginalized citizens.

Leaders appreciated for supporting journalists’ welfare fund

Laxma Reddy appreciated local leader Pandala Shivakumar Goud for arranging the insurance coverage for Kapra Press Club members. He also praised former corporator Pajjuri Pavani Manipal Reddy, local leaders Raghava Reddy, Vanjari Praveen Karipye, and social activist Bande Goud for their contributions to the journalists’ welfare fund.

Bonds distributed to Kapra Press Club members

After the speeches, MLA Bandari Laxma Reddy personally handed over the insurance bonds to Kapra Press Club members. Senior journalists Mothe Venkat Reddy, Malkayya, Panjala Srinivas Goud, K.C. Mohan, Satyanarayana, Sahadev Chari, Jyothirmaya Chari, Chandramouli, and many others attended the event.
