Medaram road accident kills one as car loses control in Warangal

Hyderabad: A Medaram road accident killed a 40-year-old man after a car carrying his family lost control near Mutthojipet in Warangal district.

The accident occurred on Wednesday morning as the family travelled to Medaram from Mallannagudem village. The deceased was identified as Ganesh, a resident of Gudur mandal in Mahabubabad district.

Ganesh travelled with his wife, two children and parents in a rented car. The family had started the journey together and was heading towards Medaram when the crash occurred.

According to preliminary information, the car lost control after crossing Rajupet village. It then veered towards a nearby house before overturning.

Ganesh died at the spot due to the impact. His mother suffered a fractured hand, while his father sustained serious injuries in the crash.

Meanwhile, Ganesh’s wife and two children suffered minor injuries. Local residents quickly noticed the accident and alerted the emergency services.

The impact also reportedly threw a bull that was near the location. The force of the collision scattered the car’s bumper, number plate and other damaged parts across the area.

Local residents suspected excessive speed may have caused the driver to lose control. However, police have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the accident.

Medaram road accident leaves family members injured

After receiving information, local residents immediately contacted the 108 ambulance service. Emergency personnel reached the location and provided initial treatment to the injured family members.

The injured were then shifted to Narsampet Government Hospital for further treatment. Doctors assessed their condition after the crash and provided necessary medical care.

Police registered a case following the incident. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the possibility of excessive speed.

The family had reportedly been travelling to Medaram when the journey ended in tragedy. Ganesh’s death left the family facing a major loss, while several members required medical treatment.

The accident also caused concern among residents near Mutthojipet. The damaged vehicle and scattered parts showed the force of the collision.
