Rain alert issued for 11 Telangana districts

Hyderabad: The Meteorological Department issued a rain alert for Telangana, warning of heavy rain in 11 districts on August 19.

Officials said weather conditions would change across several parts of the state during the day. They forecast rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in some areas.

Considering the possibility of severe weather, authorities issued a Yellow Alert for several districts. The warning covers Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial and Nirmal districts.

The alert also includes Nizamabad, Jagtial, Sircilla, Karimnagar and Peddapalli. Bhupalpally and Mulugu also fall under the weather warning.
