Khammam gears up for CM Revanth Reddy’s visit

Hyderabad: Khammam district officials have stepped up preparations for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit. During the visit, he will inaugurate the newly constructed Godrej Palmolein Factory at Anjanapuram village in Konijerla mandal of the Wyra Assembly constituency.

District Collector Divakar TS inspected the arrangements on site. He was accompanied by Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt and Additional Collector P. Srinivas Reddy.

The officials reviewed preparations for the factory inauguration and the foundation stone-laying programme. They also inspected the helipad, public meeting venue, parking areas and approach roads.

In addition, the team reviewed security arrangements, traffic management, drinking water supply, sanitation, electricity and medical facilities. They also checked arrangements for farmers, members of the public, elected representatives and media personnel.

During the review, the Collector directed officials and representatives of the Godrej Palmolein Factory to complete all arrangements on time. He stressed the need for close coordination among all departments.

He said a large number of farmers and members of the public are expected to attend the event. According to the Collector, the palmolein factory will strengthen palm oil cultivation. It will also improve marketing and processing opportunities for farmers across the state.

Finally, the Collector instructed officials to ensure smooth traffic movement, follow security protocols and provide adequate public amenities. This will help visitors avoid inconvenience during the Chief Minister’s visit.
