Hyderabad: A cable operator died after falling under a train at Jammikunta Railway Station on Wednesday, prompting railway police to investigate the circumstances surrounding the Jammikunta railway death.
Police identified the deceased as Dasari Ramamurthy Goud, a resident of Housing Board Colony in Jammikunta. He reportedly died at the scene after coming under the train. However, officials had not established how he reached the railway track or fell before the train.

Railway police reached the station soon after receiving information about the incident. They took custody of the body and began the required legal procedures. Moreover, officers registered a case and started collecting details about the sequence of events. Police said they were examining whether the incident resulted from an accident or suicide.
