Hyderabad: Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy inaugurated an International Legal Access Hub in Hyderabad on Monday. The initiative aimed to combine international legal expertise with Artificial Intelligence-enabled services for cross-border legal assistance.
The centre was established by Kaveti International AI Firm. It proposed to help individuals, businesses, NRIs and investors in India connect with lawyers and legal professionals working in international jurisdictions.
Speaking at the inauguration, Uttam Kumar Reddy welcomed the international legal services initiative. He said the growing use of Artificial Intelligence across professional sectors had created significant opportunities. However, he stressed that emerging technologies also required responsible, ethical and transparent use.
International Legal Access Hub taps Hyderabad ecosystem
Uttam Kumar Reddy said Hyderabad had a strong technology ecosystem, highly skilled professionals and global connectivity. Therefore, he said the city was well positioned to emerge as a centre for AI-driven professional and legal services.
The Minister said initiatives connecting Telangana with international expertise would further strengthen the State’s global profile.
He congratulated Dr Srinivas Rao Kaveti for establishing the initiative in Hyderabad. Kaveti founded Kaveti International AI Firm and serves as Founder and Managing Attorney of Kaveti Law Firm in New York.
Kaveti, a Telangana-origin international lawyer, had more than 35 years of cross-border legal practice. His experience covered India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the UAE.
International Legal Access Hub targets cross-border assistance
The new Hyderabad centre proposed to use the International Legal Access Hub model to improve access to overseas legal professionals.
Under the initiative, people and businesses in India could connect with lawyers practising across different international jurisdictions. NRIs and investors were also among the groups the centre intended to serve.
The initiative sought to combine those international legal connections with AI-enabled services. Uttam Kumar Reddy said Hyderabad’s technology base and professional talent provided an environment for such AI-driven services to develop.
At the same time, he emphasised the need to apply Artificial Intelligence responsibly as its role expanded across professional sectors.
