Intermediate annual examination results likely on April 5 or 6

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education is likely to announce the results of the Intermediate annual examinations in the first week of April. According to officials, the Board is planning to release the results on April 5 or 6, and shared this update on January 31.

Meanwhile, the annual Intermediate examinations will begin on February 25 and conclude on March 17. Officials stated that the evaluation of answer scripts will start on February 26, running parallel to the examinations to speed up the process.

To ensure smoother and faster evaluation, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has introduced an online staff portal with technical support from CGG. The Board has uploaded details of around 41,000 staff members to the portal and will assign evaluation duties based on this data.

As a result, authorities aim to complete the evaluation process quickly. Additionally, they plan to declare the results well ahead of the next academic year to prevent delays.

Supplementary examinations schedule announced

In the same vein, officials said the Intermediate Advanced Supplementary Examinations are likely to begin from May 6. The Board expects to complete the evaluation within 20 days, and consequently, plans to release the results by the end of May.

Furthermore, the 2026–27 academic year for Intermediate courses will commence on June 1. Education department officials emphasised that timely completion of examinations, evaluations, and result declarations remains a top priority to avoid disruptions.

Practical examinations from February 2

Meanwhile, Intermediate practical examinations will start on February 2 and conclude on February 21. The Board will conduct these exams in two phases, said Krishna Aditya, Secretary of the Inter Board, during a press conference at the Board’s office in Nampally.

Notably, the Board is implementing the jumbling system for the first time. Under this system, students from one college will attend practical examinations at another college. Around 5.20 lakh students are expected to appear for the practicals, which will be conducted across 1,440 centres statewide.
