Hyderabad: BRS MLA and former minister Harish Rao on Thursday urged people to complete and submit their Enumeration Forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. He said every eligible voter should take part in the exercise.
Harish Rao filled out his own Enumeration Form at his camp office in Siddipet. Meanwhile, he handed it over to the Booth Level Officer (BLO). He also appealed to citizens to complete the process before the July 24 deadline.
Enumeration Forms must reach officials by July 24
Harish Rao said people should not assume they can skip the exercise because they voted in previous municipal, Assembly or Lok Sabha elections. Further, he said every voter must complete the Enumeration Form under the ongoing SIR process.
He said submitting the form is necessary to keep voting rights secure in the electoral rolls. Additionally, he urged people to cooperate with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) during the revision exercise.
Harish Rao also appealed to every eligible voter to fill out the Enumeration Form responsibly. Finally, he urged them to submit it to the concerned officials on or before July 24.
