Hyderabad: Telangana Endowments Minister Konda Surekha met TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Thursday and sought disciplinary action against Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari over an alleged protocol violation in the erstwhile Warangal district.
The Minister expressed strong displeasure over recent political developments in the district. Meanwhile, she objected to Kadiyam Srihari holding a review meeting on Endowments Department matters without informing her.
Konda Surekha raises protocol violation issue
Konda Surekha told the TPCC chief that the review meeting violated official protocol. Further, she urged the party leadership to initiate disciplinary action against Kadiyam Srihari. She also informed Mahesh Kumar Goud that she had already submitted a written complaint to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on the issue.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Kumar Goud responded positively to the complaint. He said the party had been monitoring reports on internal differences and group politics in the erstwhile Warangal district.
Additionally, the TPCC chief said he would speak to both Konda Surekha and Kadiyam Srihari soon to resolve the dispute. He also warned that the party would not tolerate actions that damage the image of either the government or the Congress.
