Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has rolled out a one-time property tax scheme under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits for 2025–26, offering a 90% waiver on accumulated interest on tax arrears.

The scheme, announced through orders issued by the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development department, allows property owners to avail the benefit if they pay the full principal amount and 10% of the interest dues in a single payment.

Scheme applicable to all property types

The one-time scheme covers both private and government properties within GHMC limits. It was approved following a proposal submitted by the GHMC Commissioner and reviewed by the State government.
