Hyderabad: The District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner inspected the ongoing SIR 2026 enumeration at Polling Stations 274 and 283 in Chanchalguda Chowni under the Malakpet Assembly constituency on Tuesday. The visit focused on the progress of the house-to-house enumeration exercise.
The DEO interacted with citizens and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to assess the revision process. Meanwhile, he verified that officials were following the Election Commission of India’s guidelines during the exercise.
SIR 2026 enumeration reviewed in Malakpet
The DEO directed BLOs to visit every household and ensure that all eligible electors receive Enumeration Forms. Further, he instructed them to help every eligible voter enrol in the electoral roll.
He also asked field staff to conduct the revision exercise with diligence, accuracy and transparency. Finally, he instructed officials to include every eligible elector and maintain accurate, comprehensive and inclusive electoral rolls.
