Hyderabad: The GHMC Commissioner on Wednesday directed officials to complete the Nalgonda Flyover by the first week of August after reviewing the progress of the ongoing project.
Accompanied by the Chief Engineer and senior engineering officials, the Commissioner inspected the flyover works and reviewed the remaining civil and finishing activities. Moreover, he interacted with the executing agencies during the site visit.
Nalgonda Flyover works to gather pace
The Commissioner instructed officials to speed up every pending activity and meet the project deadline. Additionally, he directed teams to complete the bituminous road on the flyover and service roads without delay.
He also asked officials to finish the up-ramp on the Akbarbagh side, complete the remaining ramps and install crash barriers. Furthermore, the Commissioner instructed the engineering teams to complete horticulture and landscaping works beneath the flyover, road markings, street lighting and all remaining finishing works.
Nalgonda Flyover to be ready for inauguration
The Commissioner stressed the need to adhere strictly to the project schedule. He directed officials to complete the entire project by the first week of August. Consequently, the flyover will be ready for inauguration and opening to the public.
