Drug-free society campaign launched in Yadadri

Hyderabad: Yadadri Superintendent of Police Anksh Yadav called on people to work responsibly towards building a drug-free society during an awareness programme organised by the police in Bhuvanagiri on Friday.

The police conducted a 2K run as part of the campaign to spread awareness against drug abuse. The SP administered a pledge to participants and urged everyone to stay away from narcotics.

He said public participation was essential to achieve the goal of a drug-free society. He also encouraged citizens to adopt healthy lifestyles and contribute to the overall development of society by rejecting substance abuse.

2K run promotes drug awareness

The awareness programme drew the participation of senior police officials and local personnel. Additional SP Lakshminarayana, DSP Ravinder, Traffic DSP Prabhakar Reddy and Circle Inspectors attended the event.

Police reiterated that community awareness and collective responsibility play a key role in preventing drug abuse and creating a safer environment for future generations.
