Hyderabad: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) warned that candidates appearing for the FMGE exam 2026 on June 28 will not be allowed to enter examination centres even if they arrive a minute late.
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), conducted for candidates who completed their medical education abroad, will be held in two shifts on Sunday. The first session will run from 9 am to 11 am, while the second session will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
Candidates must reach their centres well in advance as the examination centre gates will close at 8:30 am for the morning session and at 1:30 pm for the afternoon session. Officials said no candidate would be permitted to enter after the gates are closed.
FMGE exam 2026 guidelines for candidates
NBEMS advised candidates to carry only their admit card and an original photo identity card. Officials also prohibited mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices and all other electronic gadgets inside the examination centre.
Candidates have also been instructed not to wear masks unless required for medical reasons. NBEMS warned that any violation of examination rules or attempts at malpractice would invite strict action.
Officials further advised candidates to regularly check the board’s official website for the latest updates and instructions related to the FMGE exam 2026.
