Current shock kills couple in Nizamabad district

Hyderabad: A Current shock tragedy claimed the lives of a husband and wife in Nizamabad district after they were electrocuted while drying clothes at their residence in Utpalli village of Bodhan mandal. Three children escaped with minor injuries in the incident.

The victims were identified as Ratnawat Sanjeev, 45, and Jyoti, 41. According to preliminary information, the couple was washing and drying clothes when a clothes dryer reportedly came into contact with live electrical wires. The contact allowed electricity to pass through the equipment, resulting in a fatal electric shock.

Both victims died on the spot. Their three children, who were present during the incident, sustained minor injuries and survived.

Police begin probe into Current shock tragedy

The Current shock tragedy left residents of Utpalli village in mourning. Family members and villagers gathered at the scene after learning about the accident.

Police reached the location soon after receiving information and conducted an inspection. Officials shifted the bodies to a government hospital for postmortem examination.

The police registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the electrocution. Authorities are examining all aspects of the incident as part of the inquiry.
