Hyderabad: CPI National Executive member K. Narayana demanded a Kangana Ranaut apology over her remarks targeting Gen-Z youth and women. He described the comments as insulting and objectionable. He called on the actor to issue an unconditional public apology to those she had offended.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Narayana said people in public life should express their views with responsibility and restraint. According to him, Kangana Ranaut’s comments were unacceptable and could not be justified.
He warned that such remarks would deepen divisions in society. They would also undermine democratic values. Narayana urged public figures to exercise caution while making statements that could hurt sections of society.

Narayana also welcomed Chief Justice Surya Kant’s response regarding his earlier “cockroach” remarks that had hurt the sentiments of protesters.
He said the Chief Justice’s willingness to acknowledge the pain caused by those remarks reflected the dignity of the judiciary. Narayana added that adopting a corrective approach strengthened public confidence in the judicial system.
