CMC Commissioner reviews town planning works and pending cases

Hyderabad: The Commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation conducted a town planning review meeting with officials and stressed the need for faster disposal of pending cases and stronger field-level execution.

During the meeting, officials reviewed the disposal of building applications, occupancy applications, TDR applications and LRS applications.

The Commissioner also examined the status of pending court matters, including writ petitions and contempt cases. In addition, officials discussed encroachment removal drives and public grievance resolution.

The review meeting also covered land acquisition issues and road widening works in different areas under the corporation limits.

Officials further discussed the monitoring of dilapidated buildings and other field-level challenges affecting urban management.

During the town planning review, the Commissioner directed officials to speed up disposal of all pending applications and cases through better inter-department coordination.

He also instructed departments to ensure timely handling of court matters and approvals to avoid delays in implementation.

The Commissioner asked officials to strengthen field-level monitoring and improve accountability among staff members.

Moreover, he directed teams to address public grievances without delay and ensure effective follow-up at the ground level.

Officials said the administration remained focused on streamlining planning processes and improving timely delivery of services across the corporation.
