Hyderabad: Chatrinaka Police reunite a missing 9-year-old girl with her family within hours after receiving a Dial 100 alert in Hyderabad.
Police responded immediately after receiving information about a young girl who was crying alone.
Officials said the child appeared frightened and could not communicate properly at first.
Police personnel comforted the girl and ensured her safety before starting inquiries in the surrounding area.
Chatrinaka Police reunite girl with mother
During the inquiry, police traced the child’s mother and identified the girl as a Class 5 student from Bidar in Karnataka.
The family had come to Uppuguda to attend a relative’s function.
Police said the girl accidentally got separated from her family during the event.
After counselling, police safely handed the child over to her mother.
Family members thanked the Chatrinaka Police for their quick response and professional assistance.
