Vamsi Krishna seeks Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over NEET row

Hyderabad: Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna on Monday demanded Dharmendra Pradhan resignation over the NEET paper leak controversy and alleged irregularities in the CBSE Class 12 evaluation process.

In a statement, the Congress MP said the NEET controversy severely affected lakhs of students who prepared for the examination.

He questioned the moral authority of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to continue in office after the controversy.

“It is truly shameful that such a situation has come to the youth of India. I am requesting that you resign immediately,” Vamsi Krishna said.

The MP alleged that students were also facing difficulties due to problems in the CBSE On-Screen Marking system.

According to him, students encountered blurred answer sheet scans, technical glitches in the revaluation portal and unexpectedly low marks.

He claimed these issues were affecting students’ higher education opportunities.
