Equitable funds Telangana support sought
During the meeting, Srihari briefed the Union Minister on schemes being implemented in Telangana under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership. He explained their outcomes and sought continued cooperation from the Central government.
The discussion covered support for aquaculture, insurance coverage in life sciences, and fair allocation of resources, including mopeds. Rajiv Ranjan Singh responded positively and assured that the proposals would be considered.
Srihari said the Centre represented a union of states. Therefore, he said, funds should be distributed equitably among all states. He also stated that the previous government had failed to effectively secure central funds for Telangana.

Srihari said the State government was focusing on developing 46,000 major tanks, 26,000 minor tanks and 100 reservoirs between the Godavari and Krishna rivers.
The alleged relocation of the NFDB from Rajendranagar also came up during the meeting. Rajiv Ranjan Singh clarified that there was no proposal to shift the NFDB. He assured that it would continue to function from Rajendranagar.
