Unidentified man dies after being found unconscious at Bollaram railway station

Hyderabad: An unidentified man who was found unconscious at Bollaram railway station died while undergoing treatment, the Secunderabad Railway Police said. Police have appealed to the public to help identify the deceased and trace his family members.

According to the police, the man, believed to be around 50 years old, was found in an unconscious state at Bollaram railway station on June 26. Railway Police responded to the information and shifted him to Gandhi Government Hospital in a 108 ambulance for medical treatment.

Despite treatment, the man died on Saturday. Police said no identity documents were found on him, making it difficult to establish his identity.

Bollaram railway station police seek public assistance

The deceased was approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, had a wheatish complexion, a round face and a birthmark on the left collarbone, police said.

Railway Police requested anyone who recognises the deceased or has information about his family to contact the Secunderabad Railway Police Inspector on 87126 58581 or the investigating officer on 96662 80808.

Police said the information would help complete the identification process and inform the deceased’s relatives.
