Traffic restrictions near LB Stadium this evening

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police announced traffic restrictions around Lal Bahadur Shastri (LB) Stadium ahead of a School Education Department programme scheduled for Friday evening.

The School Education Department will hold the programme at 4 pm on June 19. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy are expected to attend the event. Traffic Police expect moderate congestion on roads surrounding the stadium.

Police advised motorists to avoid key stretches near the venue as traffic restrictions may affect movement in the area this evening.

Meanwhile, traffic congestion may affect the Ravindra Bharati–Nampally Road stretch, Liberty–Abids Road and roads around Basheerbagh Junction.

In addition, motorists may face delays on the AR Petrol Pump–Nampally stretch and the BJR Statue–Abids stretch during the evening hours.

Traffic Police urged commuters to plan their journeys in advance and follow the traffic advisories for the event.

Officials will position traffic personnel at major junctions to regulate vehicular movement and assist commuters.

Further, Hyderabad Traffic Police appealed to citizens to cooperate with field staff and avoid affected routes wherever possible.
