TPCC VP Faheem targets BRS for insulting constitutional authorities

Hyderabad: TPCC vice-president and Food Corporation chairman M A Faheem on Tuesday accused the BRS leadership of insulting constitutional authorities and betraying Dalit interests through what he described as deliberate political drama. In light of current events, Faheem BRS allegations have sparked considerable discussion in political circles.

Addressing the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Faheem said BRS leaders staged a spectacle at their party office. According to him, the act demeaned the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha Opposition leader, the Speaker and the Chief Minister. He said such conduct directly undermined the Constitution and echoed the seriousness of the Faheem BRS allegations brought forward.

Questioning the BRS’s claims of moral values, Faheem recalled how the party inducted leaders elected from other parties. As an example, he cited Talasani Srinivas Yadav, alleging that despite branding him anti-Telangana earlier, the BRS later made him a minister. These points have repeatedly surfaced in Faheem BRS allegations.

Faheem flags Dalit issues, Speaker insult

Turning to Dalit concerns, Faheem alleged that the BRS repeatedly failed the community despite tall promises. He said the party spoke about making a Dalit the Chief Minister but never delivered. He also said the assurance of three acres of land remained unfulfilled and recalled the Nerella incident, further fueling Faheem BRS allegations.

On the Speaker issue, Faheem said the BRS insulted a Dalit leader holding a constitutional post. He described the Speaker as a dignified individual and said the episode exposed the party’s mindset.

Referring to past events, Faheem recalled the arrest of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy during his tenure as TPCC chief. He alleged that authorities broke into Revanth Reddy’s residence at the time and questioned the BRS’s moral standing.

Faheem further alleged that the BRS gave party posts to individuals accused in counterfeit currency cases. Such decisions, he said, raised serious questions about ethics.

Addressing BRS working president K T Rama Rao, Faheem warned against what he called theatrical politics. He said the Congress leadership was closely watching developments and would soon decide its response after internal discussions.
