LPG booking rules remain unchanged despite rumours
Officials confirmed that no changes apply to current booking timelines. Therefore, consumers can continue to follow the existing system without confusion.
Under the current system, urban consumers can book a refill 25 days after delivery. Meanwhile, rural consumers can place bookings after 45 days. These timelines remain unchanged.
The government continues to monitor oil companies closely to ensure uninterrupted supply. Moreover, officials assured that LPG distribution continues without disruption across the country.

The Centre urged consumers not to believe unverified reports. Instead, it asked them to rely only on official communication regarding LPG booking rules.
Officials reiterated that supply remains stable and adequate. Therefore, consumers should avoid panic booking and follow regular refill schedules.
