TPCC forms SIR monitoring committee across Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud on Friday constituted a SIR monitoring committee to oversee the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across the state. The party said the committee would coordinate with election authorities and monitor the revision process.

The TPCC appointed Pulipati Rajesh Kumar as chairman of the Election Commission Coordination Committee. He will oversee coordination with election officials during the revision exercise.

Meanwhile, the party appointed Gampa Venu Gopal to supervise the Congress Party’s administrative work related to the SIR process.

SIR monitoring committee names coordinators

The TPCC also appointed parliamentary constituency-wise control room coordinators for all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana. The appointments cover constituencies including Adilabad, Karimnagar, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Chevella, Nalgonda, Warangal and Khammam.

According to Rajesh Kumar, committee members will remain in regular contact with Booth Level Agents (BLAs), Assembly leaders and Parliament leaders throughout the revision process.

SIR monitoring committee to coordinate with Election Commission

Rajesh Kumar said the committee would bring any issues arising during the SIR exercise to the notice of the Election Commission for prompt resolution.

Furthermore, the TPCC said the initiative aimed to ensure smooth coordination and address voter list-related concerns during the Special Intensive Revision process.
