Hyderabad: The TPCC coordination committee met in New Delhi on Wednesday under the chairmanship of AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan to discuss the party’s organisational strategy, local body elections, Cabinet expansion and the implementation of government welfare schemes.
The meeting brought together Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Seethakka and Damodar Raja Narasimha, CWC member Vamsi Chand Reddy and other senior Congress leaders.
According to party sources, the discussions focused on strengthening the party organisation and preparing for the upcoming local body elections. Leaders also reviewed the implementation of welfare schemes introduced by the State government.

The TPCC coordination committee also discussed the conduct of ZPTC, MPTC and GHMC elections. In addition, leaders deliberated on filling nominated posts and the proposed expansion of the State Cabinet. The meeting reportedly reviewed the latest political developments in Telangana and examined strategies for the Congress ahead of future elections.
Senior leaders also discussed ways to strengthen the party’s position and improve coordination between the government and the organisation. Furthermore, they focused on preparing an action plan for the coming months.
Party sources indicated that important decisions could emerge from the meeting after detailed deliberations. However, no official announcement had been made at the time of the meeting. The meeting assumed significance as the Congress high command intensified its focus on Telangana’s political and organisational affairs ahead of the next round of electoral activities.
