Hyderabad: Telangana Inter supplementary results were declared on Thursday, with girls recording higher pass percentages than boys in both first-year and second-year examinations.
According to the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE), 1,31,128 students from general and vocational streams appeared for the second-year advanced supplementary examinations.
Of them, 64,639 students passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 49.29.

Among second-year candidates, 47,395 girls appeared for the examinations. Of them, 52.56 percent passed.
In comparison, 83,733 boys took the examinations. Their pass percentage stood at 47.45.
The Telangana Inter supplementary results also showed a stronger performance by girls in the first-year examinations.
A total of 2,67,331 students appeared for the first-year supplementary examinations. The overall pass percentage reached 68.84.
Among them, 1,23,974 girls appeared for the examinations. They recorded a pass percentage of 76.10.
Meanwhile, 1,43,357 boys took the examinations and registered a pass percentage of 62.57.
Telangana Inter supplementary results available online
The Board made the results available on its official websites. Students can access their results through the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education portal and the results portal.
Students seeking recounting of marks can submit applications between June 12 and June 18. The Board fixed the recounting fee at Rs 100 per paper.
Students seeking re-verification and a scanned copy of their evaluated answer script can also apply during the same period. The Board fixed the fee at Rs 800 per paper.
The Board advised students to download and print a colour copy of their online memorandum of marks. The document became available from 5 pm on Thursday through the official website.
